The one group are those who did not accept the invitation to receive Jesus as their saviour.  Their predicament is set. They are going to suffer. They are going to cry. They are going to hit their fists to pulp against heaven’s door but unfortunately it will be closed not to be opened again. How empty is a world where God’s goodness and power have been withdrawn.

Dear o dear, this will be a mess of a place!

But then there is the other group. Those of us (and I sincerely trust that you are included in this group) who accepted Jesus as our Saviour will be in awe. Our eyes will sparkle and stare at Jesus. We shall stand face to face with our heavenly Brother. With arms stretched out He’ll invite us all to live with him in heaven for ever.

Wow, this is a wonderful prospect!
