Learn from your mistakes. This makes next time easier. This assumes that I know that I am fallible. I have to remember that the shadow of the Fall is cast over me as well and that I might make mistakes myself. I don’t have to pretend. We all make mistakes. It actually is comforting to know I am not the only one making mistakes.

Since I realise I do make mistakes, I can guard myself against it.  I can prepare myself to see the holes in the path and find ways to sidestep it. One of the ways is by learning from others.
