Last for 2023!
Good day!
The year is coming to an end, and yes, it was a rough one.
Looking back over the year, we enjoyed the privilege of being able to travel around the country and even the world to record sermons.
First, in the Southern Cape in the beautiful natural forest. Then the unforgettable tour through Jesus’ birthplace, Israel, where Renata and I could record 14 sermons in His footsteps.
At Morgenster in Zimbabwe, I recalled that this is where my parents met, and it made me realize with wonder that God has been weaving
His plan for me since before I was even born. So, naturally, I had to preach about that – about how God has a unique plan and dream for each of us right from the start.
There was a whirlwind visit to Namibia where our Father helped us record sermons in the desert, from the red Kalahari dunes to the salt mine in Walvis Bay. His message truly reaches everywhere.
Of course, our travels weren’t the only way we spread the word. We sent out approximately 4.3 million WhatsApp messages and 3.8 million of emails this year, planting seeds of faith in hearts all over the world. And all those messages are still out there on thousands of social media walls, just waiting for the right moment to bloom. At Crossroads247, we’re praying that the Holy Spirit gives those seeds the sunshine they need to grow into something beautiful.
Our voices also reached thousands on the radio five days a week. We weren’t afraid to speak out about God’s love and grace, and it was amazing to see how many people were touched by His message.
And let’s not forget our incredible prayer team! They answered thousands of prayers, both online and in person, showing God’s love and compassion in action. We’re so grateful for their dedication and unwavering faith.
We honour the Lord that He has called us to sow.
As we look back on this year, we are thankful for all of you who allowed us into your lives, even when we showed up unexpectedly. We hope the Word we shared will continue to guide you through life’s ups and downs.
With the year drawing to a close, I pray for peace and rest to fill your hearts. May you enjoy this holiday season and experience the joy of celebrating our Savior’s birth. May you be safe all the way and may we meet up again, rested, next year, either in person or online.
May the grace of our Father, the love of Jesus, and the presence of the Holy Spirit be with you all the way. Amen.
Go well
Gerjo Ben, Renata and the rest of the Crossroads team
