God is good! Only goodness comes from God. God only want what is good for His children. Actually, God can’t stop wanting what is good for His children. One of the biggest examples of this is each of us.

God wanted each of us to be born. He planned for it to happen. He wanted us to take that first breath. He wanted us to be alive here on earth. He wanted us to make a choice, a choice for Him and not the world.

You and I are the first fruit of God. The best. We’re the export fruit intended to be put in the best position on the shelf. As first fruit, we were created to be good to others too. That’s all part of God’s plan for our lives.

This is how good God is: ¹⁸He brought us to life using the true Word, showing us off as the crown of all his creatures.

It was God’s decision that you were born. Yes, He used your mom and dad to make it happen, but it was His Kingly will that you are here on earth now. Just think about it.

If you understand that it is God’s will that you are here today, you realise how much we are worth. Remember, it’s the King’s will and that is why we are the children of the King.

We are so easily reminded of all the bad things we’ve done. When we see that ugly picture of our lives, we feel really bad. At times like that, our self-image takes a knock and our self-worth tank becomes empty.

This might be human, but it’s a complete lie. We must remember that our worth is not determined by what we do or don’t do. It’s determined by the One who wanted us to be here.

We must keep on believing in this. I have much worth because the great God wanted me to be here. And with all this worth I can face the world and tackle everything that come my way with new courage.

God is a good God who wants to give the best to people. That’s why He gives life. That’s why He gives life to us, and – listen to this – also as gifts to other people.

God’s plan is to put us where we are now, even if it’s hard sometimes, even when we struggle to keep our heads above water, to be a gift for others. And when we do that, others see God’s goodness coming true and also start believing in it.

Prayer
Father, I can hardly believe that You had me in mind even before I was born. Thank you that I can know that You are my Creator and that I am worth so much. Please help to go and live a worthy life out there. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
